From July 25 to July 27, 2019 in the town of Berkovitsa was held a final conference on the project, organized by the lead partner Association "Roma - Berk". 42 people took part in its work - representatives of the target group of disadvantaged people on the labor market, employers, representatives of the Directorate of the Labor Office - Berkovitsa, the Municipality of Berkovitsa, the media, the teams of the three partner organizations. During the conference a report was made on the work done on the project, the implementation of activities, the results achieved. The event was covered in publications of the regional newspaper "Slavyansko slovo" and the municipal newspaper "Kom".
On 17, 18 and 19 July 2019 in Craiova, Romania was held the second joint Job Fair under the project, organized by Partner 4 University of Craiova. The event was attended by 114 Romanian and Bulgarian participants - representatives of the target group of disadvantaged people from Craiova and Berkovitsa; employers from Craiova and region Montana; recruitment organizations; specialized institutions for serving disadvantaged people; the teams of the three partner organizations. A special report on the work of the joint Job Fair was broadcast on TV Craiova.
In connection with the implementation of activity 6 of the project on 10, 11 and 12 July 2019 in Montana was held the provided under the project joint Job Fair. The event was attended by 90 disadvantaged people in the labor market from Montana, Bulgaria and Craiova, Romania; employers; recruitment organizations; specialized institutions for serving disadvantaged people from the district of Montana; the project teams. The holding of the joint Job Fair was covered by Radio Montana and the regional newspaper Slavyansko Slovo.
From March 11, 2019 in Berkovitsa started the training provided by the project for developing competencies for employment and starting a business for disadvantaged people. The training will be held at the Consultancy Center in Berkovitsa in three groups, of which two groups of 15 people of Roma origin and 1 group of people with permanent disabilities. Classes of the second group are scheduled to begin on April 15, 2019, and the third group on June 17, 2019.
From February 23, 2019 in Craiova started the training provided by the project for developing competencies for employment and starting a business for disadvantaged people. The training is conducted according to the prepared by the joint expert group of the project in two modules with a total duration of 60 hours. The training will take place at the Craiova Consultancy Center, opened under the project, and will cover three groups with a minimum of 45 participants disadvantaged people in the labor market.

MEETING WITH EMPLOYER
Today, 03.12.2018, in the House for the elderly with a hospital for patients - Berkovitsa a team composed of: Mrs. Lyudmila Filipova - Director of the Consultation Center for Project "Combined efforts in support to the disadvantaged people on the labor market in the cross-border area" (PROJECT CODE 16.4.2.056, E-MS CODE ROBG-163), Mrs. Stanimira Ivanova, Project Expert and Mr. Ivaylo Panov, Project Coordinator met with Radi Tsvetanov Ivanov, Director of the Home for old people with a hospital for patients - Berkovitsa.
During the meeting, an invitation was made to the Director of the Home for Older People - Berkovitsa to present his activity on the territory of the Montana District as well as the requirements for future employees of the company.
During the meeting, a special video clip was created for the purposes of the project, presenting the information requested by the team - in a version suitable for presenting on a labor exchange to disadvantaged people from the Berkovitsa municipality, which will take place in CONSULTING CENTER - Berkovitsa, Atanas Kyurkchiev str., Bl. INFORMATION REGARDING HELD MEETING
with disadvantaged Roma people, project target group
On November 27, 2018, a meeting was held in the Rakovitsa district of Berkovitsa to inform, consult and present the activities of the Consultancy Center in the town of Berkovitsa under the project "Combined efforts in support to the disadvantaged people on the labor market in the cross-border area".
The meeting, organized by the lead beneficiary Roma - Berk Association, was attended by 18 unemployed people from Rakovitsa, willing to start work, a psychologist and representatives of the project team.
The Project Manager Mr. Sasho Gogov briefly presented the implementation of the project and the work of the Consultancy Center, established and functioning with funds from the Interreg V-A Romania-Bulgaria Cross-Border Cooperation Programme 2014-2020. The head of the expert group of the association presented information and consultation on the topics "Labor Market Policies" and "Business Potential for Roma Inclusion in the Labor Market". During the meeting, a psychologist held an individual job with some of the unemployed people present who sought advice on their employment and work motivation issues.
An open conference on the project was held on 29, 30 June and 1 July 2017 in Craiova, Romania. The conference was organized by the Romanian partner 2 APDRP. The event was attended by representatives of the target group of the project - disadvantaged people, representatives of NGOs, a representative of the municipality of Craiova, media (TV Craiova) and the teams of the three partner organizations from Bulgaria and Romania.
The Consulting Center in Berkovitsa has opened
Today 26.06.2017 a Consulting Center in Berkovitsa has opened, under the project “Combined efforts in Support to Disadvantaged People on the Labour Market in the Cross-Border Area”, project no. 16.4.2.056, e-MS code ROBG 163, sponsored by the project “Interreg V-A Romania-Bulgaria 2014-2020”. The Center aims to support the integration of disadvantaged people on the labor market in the cross-border region, developing joint strategies and researching suitable employment practices and capacity building for this particular vulnerable group of people. Within the project the team will analyze the labor market situation of people with disabilities, find what is discouraging them when entering the labor market, and investigate the specific employment opportunities and barriers to cross-border mobility.
