NINTH EUROPEAN FORUM ON SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP
A hybrid edition of the Ninth European Forum for Social Entrepreneurship will be held on September 29 in Plovdiv. Among the officials are Bulgarian President Rumen Radev, Labor Minister Galab Donev, Sergey Stanishev, President of the Party of European Socialists and Giuseppe Guerini, a representative of the European Conference of Production and Service Cooperatives.
The organizer of the forum is the National Union of Labor Production Cooperatives in Bulgaria, a member of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and eight national representative organizations for people with disabilities. The co-organizers are the European Commission, the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, the European Economic and Social Committee, the European Confederation of Industrial Cooperatives and Social Enterprises.
All events will be held in a hybrid (live and online platforms), in prestigious halls with organized filming and online broadcasting. Participants from beyond the borders of Europe will be encouraged in the work of the individual events, whose active participation in the business work will take place thanks to the modern technological possibilities.
An international online fair of enterprises and cooperatives from the social economy will take place during the forum. Exhibitors from all over the world will take part in it. The participants in the fair are expected to receive publicity, fast and convenient communication with potential customers online from all types of devices.
The President is also expected to present the awards for merits in the development of European social entrepreneurship "Stilian Balasopulov".
The European Conference "Social Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Development in Europe" will be held on 29 September, at which European and national policies in various sectors related to social entrepreneurship will be presented.
The official opening is from 11:30 am on September 29, 2021 at the International Fair - Plovdiv, Hall 11. The forum will last until October 4, 2021.
