More than 300,000 jobs were saved by the state's employment measures

The Ministry of Labor and Social Policy reports that more than 300,000 jobs have so far been protected by the state's measures to preserve and secure employment. As a result, workers in the sectors affected by the Kovid crisis continue to receive their income, and employers have the opportunity to retain their staff. This support for business and people contributes to maintaining the economic life in the country and to reducing the registered unemployment from the levels of the first wave. There has been a steady downward trend in unemployment over the last five months. For October it was 6.9% compared to 9% in May. During this period, the number of unemployed people registered with the labor offices decreased by 67,544 people.
