NSSI WITH A NEW ONLINE REFERENCE FOR THE PENSIONS OF PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES

The payment of pensions in June 2023 through post offices will be carried out according to the standard schedule - from June 7 (Wednesday) to June 20 (Tuesday). The transfers of the amounts for the June pensions to the accounts of the pensioners who receive their money via bank transfer will be carried out on June 7, 2023.

On the website of the National Social Security Institute there is a new electronic service related to the right of individuals to continue the payment of their disability pension and/or supplement for foreign assistance even after the expiration of the expert decision of TEMC/NEMC for the time until the issuance of a new one, in case there is a delay in the medical expertise during their re-certification.

Through the "Information on data received from the Ministry of Health/RHI under the Health Act/ Transitional and final provisions of the law to amend and supplement the Law on Persons with Disabilities" pensioners can find out in real time whether information about their re-certification by the medical authorities has been submitted to the NSSI.

If the persons for whom information has been received in this manner meet the prescribed legal conditions, the electronic reference will also contain data on the duration of the extended payment, as well as on the amount subject to payment for the time from the suspension of the payment until its subsequent recovery. The electronic service is available through the heading "E-services and inquiries"/"Inquiries"/"Inquiries on PIN and PIC of the National Social Security Institute"/"At the service of the pensioner".
